Adding Different Roles-- Need Help

Hi,

 

I want to create a three different roles consumer/retailer/distributor. On Registration, customer will send a request to admin that I want to be distributor/retailer. There will be separate form for each role. Admin will fill these forms from backend. How can I acheive this? Right now I can see only one form which is being used for registration purpose. Please guide me on the right direction on how to do this.

 

I'm new to prestashop so need your valuable inputs.

Hi Ricky,

 

You could add a selector 'register me as consumer/retailer/distributor'

Every customer would be registred as consumer until Admin change it manually after checking.

 

You would only have to catch 'register as retailer/distributor'.

 

What version will you use ?

you can use our Authorized Only Module which allows request for account while keeping all prices and shopping cart functions hidden...

 

Then you can review the registration request and then choose to enable the account. Before enabling you can then choose to assign the customer to one of your predefined groups.

@math_php : Thank you so much for reply. I'm using 1.5 version. I understood your point. But as I mentioned I need to have two forms one for retailer/distributor and one for consumer. How can I achieve this?
