"Payment remotely accepted" What does this mean?

Hi

 

Installed the latest PayPal module 3.3 with PrestaShop 1.5.2

 

Now orders are coming up with "Payment remotely accepted".

 

What does this mean? The money is in my PayPal account so why are these orders appearing different from the others?

 

Also there is no information in the "payment" section of the order:

 

"No payment available".

 

It looks as if the latest PayPal module does not work with 1.5 and I am yet to find a PayPal module which works with the latest version of PrestaShop.

 

With this latest problem I cannot make any refunds or partial refunds.

 

Please can anyone help with this or is it possible to use a module which actually works with PS 1.5.2?

Hi

 

I get 3 x Payment remotely accepted on Order details page.

 

When I change the status to "Payment Accepted" it reverts back to "Payment remotely accepted"

 

PS Team / Mod developer can you tell us what is going on here please?

seems like change the status and use the CREDIT CARD PENDIENT instead of Payment remotely accepted. I edit and change the credit card pendient to Payment remotely accepted with this data

 

 

Consider the associated order as validated

 

Allow customer to download and view PDF version of invoice

 

Update delivery date and create a delivery slip (if it has not been created already)

 

Hide this status in customer's order

 

Send e-mail to customer when order is changed to this status (select this option)

But why do we have 2 statuses which mean and do exactly the same?

 

I've done some tests in my PS 1.5.6.1 with newest PayPal module: if I set the PayPal Module to "authorize" it sets the order to "Payment remotely accepted", which means the payment is "only" authorized.

So it would make more sense, if PrestaShop can rename this status to "Payment authorized". I'm I wrong with this?

To me "Remote Payment accepted" means Paypal payment is pending. Cause normally when a customer pays via paypal I can see at once "Payment accepted". But now I have had one case that was "Remote payment accepted" and when I have had a closer look into my paypal account I can see that the Payment is still pending = open.
