Product Images and Thumbnails Not Displaying In Front Office

Good day!

I'm currently running prestashop 1.5.2 with a theme that's compatible with prestashop 1.5.0.17 and everything works other than the product and thumbnails not showing up on the product page.

Why does this happen and are there any known fixes for this problem?

Thanks in advance for assistance!

Hey,

It probably is the "_default" issue. Try looking at preferences -> images in your back office. You'll probably see a bunch of image types with the _default suffix.

You can whether:

1- Change and add _default at every image call in the template

2- Creat image types which are clone of the existing ones, without the _default suffix

Cheers! ;)

Can you have a look at the images folder/p, and check out the products to see how images are named? Also, go to preferences and turn off "Use legacy filesystem". The set "I'm using legacy filesystem" in the image preferences, and regenerate them all

Nemo!

Thanks for considering my post topic!

The prestahop version I'm using is 1.5.2

The template monster theme is built for prestashop version 1.5.0.17

Here's a screenshot for the product page. Please note the missing main product image, thumbnails and zoom function.

Here's a link to the live demo of the theme

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hey,

if it was built for that version, it's for sure an image name error. Open un the preoduct.tpl file, locate the main image and change the "i suppose at least) large image type to "large_default". it should fix the main image, the other ones should be thumbs_default if I recall it correctly
