Incorrect currency conversion of products with specific price & discount and combination

Hi all

 

Have a problem with a client's site.

 

This apparently was an issue which should have been resolved but I am on prestashop 1.4.8.2 and it is still there.

 

If you go to a product with specific price with discount and no combinations

here

Select the "dollar" currency from the dropdown at the top. Works fine. Conversion is correct.

 

Now go to a product with combinations and specific price with discount:

here

Select the "dollar" currency from the dropdown at the top. Price is way off.

 

Please I would appreciate any help

When you click through to one of the items - the currency conversion is incorrect.

 

I had the same problem when I purchased an Atchworks theme and the developer fixed it. Unfortunately he will not let me know what he done to fix it but said that it was a problem with PrestaShop which was supposed to have been fixed in Nov 2011.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi can anyone help with this?

 

I was told it was a problem with product.js so I tried one from Prestashop 1.4.8.3 but this only made the problem worse.

 

Price was then a lot less than it should be. When you changed the size of the product, the price kept going down to zero.

 

I raised a bug on the bug tracker system but no answer as per usual.

Hi all

 

I upgraded to 1.4.9 and the problem is still there.

 

The price is incorrect on the product page (when you select a different currency) but the price is correct on the product category page.

 

Has anyone got any idea how to fix this? Am completely at a loss as to PS lack of response to this problem seen as though I have spent nearly £1k in modules / addons from the store for my clients.

I finally had to pay someone to fix it as I could not get any communication back from PS.

 

For any others who have this issue: It was a problem back in a previous version (1.4.8x).

 

It has to do with the parameters as set out at the top of product.tpl.

 

Take all of the parameters from product.tpl in 1.4.9 download and replace.

 

If you purchase a template for PS from template monster etc then this error will be present.

Glad I could be of service. It drove me mad for weeks and no help at all from PS or Template Monster...
