Can't change themes, or view Modules / Positions? Get partial blank screen

Hope somebody can help. I run pretashop 1.4.9.1 on a hostgator with no issues. The store is working fine, but I am having problems in the back office.

 

First, I can't change themes. I have installed a new theme, which is by Prestashop. When I click on the theme installer, which I can see on the first screen, I get the following partial blank screen after clicking the link:

 

Also if I click on the module tab, then positions, I get the same same blank screen with no options to edit..

 

Any ideas?

Do you have error_reporting turned on? Please copy-paste the error message you get.
