updating theme - cause any problems at all?

Hi all.

 

I ar currently running prestashop 1.8.4.2, with the standart theme, but i got a lot of criticism because of the boring theme.

 

So i am thinking about update my actual theme to a more attractive theme, but will an theme update cause any problems with all my products, categories, tags, site, modules and so on?

 

And which theme should i get for not getting any problems?

 

What kind of theme i am looking for, is a theme with a customization menubar, or a theme where i can add my own menu bar, and then a footer like my actual footer design.

 

Hope somebody have a good idea for a good theme i can get, and which not will cause any problems.
