They can just easily re-cycle email addresses. What one needs is active community managers and moderators. Failing that soliciting help of 100 from the community with rights to nuke a SPAM post on the spot. If the posts made by this scum are not living longer than a few seconds they will eventually give up. And yeah ability to nuke a post may be abused but it is trackable/recoverable and only happens once and preferable to the problem we have now. A lot of other forums are managing just fine, so there is a solution.

Unbelievable... here are the stats for a link within one of the spam posts made:

http://goo.gl/#analy.../9E5KQ/all_time

1745 clicks from PS forums (sigh). No wonder these morons are so persistent to get a post in. People, wake up...stop clicking on every link you see

Persian forum 10 real post v 50 spam posts makes one to question does it really worth to have a separate forum for every conceivable language.

People who do not speak English should be able to find help about PrestaShop. :)

I think there should be a minimum number of posts before new members can start a new topic and/or post links. A lot of forums do this, you would have to be active for a little while before being a full member. With such a system you can use stricter SPAM filters for new members, and less for active members.
