Ajax cart refuses to add products

My cart is refusing to add more than one product to the cart at a time. Whenever I try to add more than one, it deletes the first and when I click onto a different product page it always starts back at "no items in cart".

 

Here's an example of the default ajax cart for the new template deleting a product.

 

I realize the new template is not fully compatible yet so I expect that's the reason for my difficulty. However, I have used this template as a base before with no problems.

 

Has anybody else encountered this type of behavior before?

I had the same issue.

is your shop disactivated?

try to activate it and let me know. If I do this cart works ok
