Mike Kranzler Posted June 20, 2012 Share Posted June 20, 2012 Hi core-, I took a look at this, and it appears that your images are getting compressed because they do not meet the aspect ratio of your cart images. core- Posted June 21, 2012 Author Share Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) Thank you very much for your time and response. Your suggestion helped me to solve the issue. However It's not about the aspect ratio but it turned out to be about the size. I kept the same aspect ratio (1:1) but increased the size of the small product images from 45x45 to 90x90 in the BO, and now they look fine. But it makes me wonder why it's not possible to get clear images by just setting their size in the BO? Namely, it looks like the default canvas size has been set in a php and if we set a different size of our small images in the BO they get blurry. Furthermore, the real aspect ratio of my pictures is actually 1:1.5 (and it looks fine in all other sizes but "Product" "Small") but presta increases the width of the canvas of small images to fit the aspect ratio of 1:1, so that if i set their ratio in BO to 1:1.5 (the actual one) the images actually get deformed.
