Development Theme

So my development theme is about a week from being launched (pending other projects not getting in the way)

 

It got me thinking when I started to build and more recently today what sort of layout does everyone use and or prefer?

 

Currently its coded for a 3 coloumn layout with header and footer - does everyone like that (I myself hardly use it)

 

Or would you prefer to have other options in the code to allow for the following

 

Single Column

 

Left Column and Main Content

 

Main Content and Right Column

 

3 Column Layout - Default

 

Thoughts and advice is welcomed

 

Please note this theme will be free and based on a responsive 960 grid

diversity is the best option make the theme in a number of layout options

Personally I hate the 3 column layout. Doesnt seem as inviting at all. But then that is just my preference. How ever I do not have coding knowledge so wont be able to make the changes to sort it out. You should release a few versions of it so that people without coding knowledge can install the one that they prefer.
