Module not showing in FO after moving prestashop to new domain

I am new to prestashop and completely LOVE it. However i am a novic at this and thus get all my help from the forum

 

I installed prestashop on a test site and then installed a new theme. I modified this new theme to suite what i needed and then it was time to move to the new domain.

 

I moved prestashop from the test domain to the new domain on the same server by firstly downloading prestashop from the test site, then uploading via ftp to the new domain. I then logged in to the BO and edited the DOMAIN NAME and DOMAIN NAME FOR SSL. This all works perfectly. I have no issues with the back office, but the front office does not show any modules except the Featured products module.

 

I then went back to the default module that comes with prestashop install and all works fine on the FO, all modules are visible.

 

But then when i go back to my custom theme , no modules yet again on the FO.

 

Please i need help solving this. I have been trying for 2 days now to no avail.
