[Solved] How can i have a module "featured"?

Hi,

i was wondering if we developers have to submit a formal request to the prestashop addons team in order to have one of our module featured. I mean, featured in the "featured" section of the addons site, of course.

 

Does a module have to match particular requirements?

Hi Nemo,

This is determined internally by the Addons team, to feature some of the very best new modules. There are no specific requirements, but there is also not any sort of application process to be featured.

I had a module approved and available, it was even purchased. Then it was mysteriously disabled with no explanation. I have reported this, eventually had to resubmit for approval. It all took about two weeks. In the meantime another module that does the exact same thing popped up in the featured modules list.

Maybe this is a random coincidence caused by some bug, maybe not. Without any transparency on your part we are just left to guess.
