It was on Sign in page, an additional checkbox immediately below 'Remember Me" checkbox; 'Login anonymously' What did it allow exactly? When checked it hid the logee being shown as online in user list and the green online beacon beside username. And last login also showed as 'Private' Do you know when it disappeared? It may be the case that I don't want my boss/ client/competitor/[spam-filter] seeing that I am browsing the forums at that specific time. Maybe I should be doing other work/washing the dishes/moving the grass. One can always browse the forums w/o logging in but the downside of that is a couple of questions that could be answered in that login session goes unanswered. Trivially by-passed as well by creating a second account under a different name. You are just hurting the community with arbitrary decisions like this. Re-consider please.
