[Free] [Module] Webmaster Site Verification [UPDATED V2]

Recommended Posts

Webmaster Site Verification is a simple module to allow site administrators to verify their online shops easier with Google, Bing and many more. This module will enable you to verify your sites simply by adding the meta element ID tag provided by the vendor, meaning you don’t need to edit your DNS TXT records or upload a ID string file. Version 2 has several style improvements, new logos and now supports Pinterest.

WORKS with old and new Prestashop installs! (tested with 1.2.x and 1.6.x)

Hi ByBe,

Per the rules of this section of the forums, all Free module posts MUST include the files directly within the post, not on an external site. I will check back this afternoon to confirm that you have changed your post to comply with the rules of the forum, and will be forced to move it to the Paid section if you do not.

If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to send me a PM.

FYI

I remembered seeing this tool last year after manually entering validation codes, so I actually dug it up to save time. I am happy to report that I just uploaded this module to Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 and it worked with bing! So far, so good!

I downloaded the validation code and copied it to enter in the module and voila! Thanks!

Yep, unless Prestashop majorly change their engine then it should carry on working for many years to come.

I've now updated it to version 2 with some style changes and now has Pinterest verify. Enjoy.

Thanks for developing such a module ByBe.

Just a question, does the module support multistore-multidomain?

We, the Prestashop multistore users have to verificate the site for every domain.

Regards,

Sorry, but the module has not been tested on a multistore setup. I recommend testing it on your development servers before attempting it on the live servers.

Thanks for the module, i installed it to my 1.6.0.8 and upon inserting the pinterest meta tag , module confirmed it was saved successfully , but when i went to the main module list it returned this Webmaster Site Verification: You have not entered any site verification IDs   and i did check on my pinterest account and dont think it worked, i suspect it could be my theme messing things up , can some help me ? any idea how i can get this module to work ? thanks in advance.

Hi Jonathanfoo,

Thanks for your email earlier, I left a response for you on our support page for this module.

Hi Jonathan,

Sorry to hear that your having problems.

I have just tested the module on PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.14 and have not found any issue with the Pinterest. It’s important to note that you only need to copy the ID into the dialog box not the full code.

sandral it doesn´t..
