Ok, that would be the Home text editor. You can remove that in Modules > Front Office Features

The same module you use to edit your middle page logo. Click the uninstall button to remove it completely. If you ever want it back just click install. You also have the option to just disable.

You can also use page Exceptions. This feature allows you to have the module installed, but still control which pages it displays on. To use that feature, click on the configure button for the module Home text editor. In the content editor find and click the link for “Manage Hooks”, click on the edit button and you will see a place to enter pages that you do not want the module to display on. For example "index.php".

Hi

Thanks for your reply and help

Yes it is the module . First i uploaded a picture to go in the middle of the page . Then text underneath

Now i just want the text . Not the images as well

I uninstalled it then re-installed it to see if the image would go but it didnt work

Do you know of another way i can remove the image

Many Thanks

Gary

In your homepage editor please look carefully at the image and you should notice "on the image" near the middle bottom is a delete link. Click the delete link and the image should delete.

It could be hidden because of the dark background. Try holding your mouse over the lower middle area. I've attached an image with a light background to show you where it is.

Worst case change your image to one with a light background so that you may see the link.

Please let me know if you have this,

/home/ukgaming/public_html/modules/editorial/homepage_logo.jpg

If so, please delete "homepage_logo.jpg" and let me know if that helps.

  • 4 years later...

Hello ! I am on Prestashop 1.7

I was trying to get rid of home page header logo by deleting the logo image in the c-panel. But the text "timesmarket.in" is still displayed. What can i do to get rid of the logo and the text too. I am at www.timesmarket.in/store

I also need to remove (this is for another site) the space used by the header (this is where normally there is the logo, top menu and search bar). Is it possible to remove the header region?

Please write a reply soon.
