I'm on prestashop version 1.4.6.2 and i use the advanced top menu from the addon store and a random featured slider on the homepage. I have the following need: If a user opens a category via advanced top menu or a product via random featured slider, the blockcategories module in the left hook must be filtered by it's parent category or the selected category.
