Thanks for your inquiry.

You can have as many currencies as you want for your front store payment.

You can set any number of currencies for customer to pay.

But you can only specify one currency for Commission calculation and balance displaying.

Otherwise, it will be very confusing.

The same way, you can pay the commission in any currency via Paypal.

Thanks for your inquiry.

With the combination installation of Multiple seller and Paypal adaptive module, can I charge the transaction fees from the sellers? Do I need to install teh commission module?

you will need to install Agile Seller Commission module to handle seller commission.

Otherwise the Paypal adaptive will not work properly. It may behave strange.

Hi shokinro,

A question about the commission. Is your module supporting refund? For example, if the order gets cancelled, then what happens to the seller commission? Is the commission going to be cancelled as well?

Thanks,

donwu

The module will take care of commission revoking when the order is cancelled. But it will not do payment refund.

The commission will be removed from the seller when the order status is changed to "Cancelled".

But please note, the existing commission record will not be deleted, but instead, a new minus commission record will be added to adjust the commission balance.

Hope this makes sense.

the following changes has been made to the latest version of the module to answer customer's request.

Seller and store is able to pay each other for account owning via Paypal via this module - but some store owner reported that they will never use Paypal at their country, so it is strange to ask seller to enter Paypal account information in that case.

My Account - My Seller Account - Payment Information tab

We have made it configurable for store owner to decide to use Paypal for payments between seller and store.

If choose to not use Paypal for seller-store or store-seller payments, then Paypal email address section will be hidden unless  the store has other Paypal payment module that allow sellers to accept payments from customers.

This will be included in next new version.

Hi shokinro

about the commission fee calculation and shipping handling,  the module assign the shipping fee to sellers not to store, I think in most cases you moduels are doing correctly.

But for come cases(actually one of my client is in this scenario), the shipping fee should be collected by store, not by sellers, because my client ship all products for all sellers.

Is there a way that we can assign shipping to store, not to sellers. tel me how to do that if it is possible.

hi shokinro

Also I have a question regarding taxes and commission calculation.

EXAMPLE:
lets say tax is 20%
Marketplace holder has not tax liability
Seller A has tax liability
Seller B has not tax liability

Buyer buys following:
Product A from marketplace 10$ (tax 0%)
Product B from seller A 10$+(tax20%) = 12$
Product C from seller B 10$ (tax0%)
TOTAL IS 32$
now how is commissions fee calculated? How the possible taxes show on the invoice(s)?

The tax can be set at product level. So the tax is also per product.

When payment is finished,  the shopping cart will be split into multiple orders, one order for each seller. All tax and sales are separated by seller in different invoices.

It is configurable to include tax or not for commission calculation, but that is store level. If you choose to include tax, it the commission calculation will be including tax for all sellers.

I want set different commission rates for some sellers groups, for example 10% for group A and 15% for group B.

Is there are way to set commission in this way?

thanks for using our modules.

it is possible to set different seller at different commission rate, but you are not able to set by groups. you have to set commission rate for sellers one by one.

I understand now - we will do that way.

but I think it is also a good feature to be able to set commission by seller groups, hope you consider to add this new feature in future version.

Could the seller collect the money directly and the main shop take a little percentage of his sale?

Out of the module but connected with the theme, how the law work in this kind of shops? What happens with the taxes? Who is the company which must be pay them? And what about the reimburssement? Do you know any example? It would be very useful.

Could the seller collect the money directly and the main shop take a little percentage of his sale?

Yes, you will need to set Agile Multiple seller module at payment collection mode at "Seller Collects Payment".

But you will also use payment modules that are integrated into our multiple seller environment and support this payment collection mode.

You may have to use one of more of following module

Agile Paypal Parallel module

Agile Stripe Marketplace

Agile Authorize.NET

Agile Pay BY cheque

Agile Bank Wire

Out of the module but connected with the theme, how the law work in this kind of shops? What happens with the taxes? Who is the company which must be pay them?

I am not sure if I understand your questions correctly, it seems not related to our modules.

The tax is controlled by PrestaShop core. It depends on the configuration of the Localization - Taxes and seller can choose to charge tax or not at product level.

Because seller collects sales money(including tax), seller should pay the tax. (customer pay tax to seller and seller pay tax to government)

And what about the reimburssement? Do you know any example? It would be very useful.

sorry I am not sure what is your questions, please give me explanations,  thanks.

The question is out of the module. I was referring that if you would have or would know any legal agreement to see how this typical markets places work. I think it could be interesting share it with all. If not, it doesn't matter, it's not connected with the module.

Do they work with the the typical payment modules or only we can use it with your payment modules?

thanks for your inquiry.

the commission module has nothing to do with payment modules, you can use any payment module.

the commission record is generated when the order status is changed to "Payment Accepted".

@ChessRecipes

What happens when a order is cancelled or given back?

If the order is cancelled or returned, the module will automatically adjust the commission by adding the minus commission.

So the seller account balance will be adjusted to remove previous commission for the same order.

Is it possible to put a comission depending of the sales?

Yes, you can configure the seller commission rate with X% of total order amount.
You can set different % rate for different seller or use the same rate for all sellers.

You can do that at back office - Customers - Commission Fee tab.

Seller commission module is updated to fix an commission/balance calculation issue related to shipping fee recipient.

The commission calculation was not incorrect when under following circumstance

-Seller collects payment

- Store receive shipping fee (i.e, store ship products for sellers, so the shipping fee needs to be credited to store instead of seller)

Hi,

I'm looking for a module very close to yours.

What I need basically is to set a custom price for a group of users (agents, vendors...) and also a sale price for this group...
the problem I encounter is that these prices come from a CRM and they are not based on percentage. I just have the fixed price.

For example a tshirt is 10€ normally and when is on sale is 9€. But for agent is 8€ normally and when "on sale" 7€.

Do you think your module would help me?
Can I try a Demo eventually?

Thanks

I just read again your message, it seems that your requirements is more like affiliate commission.

this module is for seller commission (seller pay store for selling), and it requires agile multiple seller module to work together.

you may try to have a look at our Agile Affiliate module to see if it will meet your requirements,.

Hi,

not really. The AGENTS would be all for the same group.

Basically agents will have lower prices. The point is:

1) The agent price is not based on percentage but on absolute price

2) Would be nice that in case there is a SALE the agent connected in frontend could see tha "agent price" as old price (already lower) and the "sale price" for agent still lower... because... "For example a tshirt is 10€ normally and when is on sale is 9€. But for agent is 8€ normally and when "on sale" 7€."

Thanks again for your inquiry.

Based on your description, I think our Agile Membership module might meet your requirements.

You can add agents to a specific a customer group for example "Agents", and then set discount for this group "Agents".

The discount could be a specified amount instead of %.

I want to give commission to my employees for each sale they make. My employees will talk to customer on the phone and log into customer account and make purchase.

So will this module work?

How will the module know which employee made the sale? (by entering vouched code, some other code, cookie or how?)

Also, is it possible to set commission different for each product?
