Korean Translation and noob question

hi there,

I'm currently working on a Korean translation. Am just prioritizing the front end right now but when time permits will eventually get the rest done and hopefully submit it as a lanugage pack for presta shop.

One question i have is with regards to diferences in grammar.

For example, am using the base as English and modifying as we go along. Finding that in some places, because of the different grammatical placement of words between languages, translation doesn't always work out so well.

For example, in the manufacturers section there is a section that says
"There are 2 manufacturers"
the strings that are translate-able are
"There are"
"Manufacturer"

Now if we simply replace those strings with the korean equivalent we get something that transliterates to
"Manufacturers 2 There are"

yoda-speak jokes aside, it's awkward to say the least.

I'm sure this happens in other languages as well and am wondering how I should be handling this. Do i need to actually create a custom template set to go along with the translations? or is there something simpler that i'm missing?

thanks

안녕하세요. 저도 한국어 작업을 하고 있습니다.
생각만큼 잘 안되고 있어서.. 걱정입니다만..
어떻게 하고 계신지요? 리플 남겨주시면 감사하겠습니다. ^^

I'm in Korea so I'm trying to see if there's any news on this.
Does anyone know of a Korean developer who is able to work with Prestashop?
Also, has there been any integration with a Korean payment gateway?

Thanks in advance

thank you for your answer,
however, my question is only about the Payment Gateway problem, not the theming or the translation.
Is it possible to install a Korean payment gateway on Prestashop? Has someone successfully done it?
