Currency symbols are not displaying correctly (Euro as an question mark)

Hi guys,

After moving my hosting and prestashop I am facing weird problem - Currency symbols rather than dollar are not displayed correctly.

When I am creating new currency via backend it automatically change them to some symbols. Apparently € is changing to ? question mark.

I have tried to delete all cache, smarty etc and it is still the same.

have moved hosting 3 times already and did not see this one before. Could be smth in PHP settings?

Any ideas?

I do have this problem too. It's 1.4.6 and lithuanian € symbol is displaying in generated invoice as questionmark in black romb. Is there something with custom pdf.php file in overrides/classes?

BO pdf invoice is set to "iso-8859-4" and font "times". Tried changing this to anything but with no avail..

Anyone know how to fix this?
