Issue after importing dump.sql file when installing theme

I first installed Prestashop using Wamp. Everything was fine.

 

Then I installed this theme :

Everything was still fine.

 

Then I wanted to import the dump.sql. (I used this guide: http://info.tmimgcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/eoc/prestashop/th/03_How_to_install_prestashop_template.htm)

 

I did this in phpmyadmin - imported it into the prestashop folder and, now when I go to localhost/prestashop it is just a blank screen.

My back office has also disappeared, it is just a blank white screen.

 

Is there something wrong with the dump screen or did I install it the wrong way?

Does it make a difference that I am using Google Chrome and not Explorer?

 

Would it help if I uploaded the dump file?

the SQL is this included in the theme package ?

 

what is the version from your prestashop ?

seems the theme you use is for 1.4.3 think will not be a problem to use it in an other 1.4 version

 

did you make an backup from your Database befor you did the sql dumb ? if so you can put it back

 

how did you do the sql dumb ?

 

you can also ask the theme developer about this problem

perhaps they know what the problem can be
