[Solved] rewrite .htaccess

Hi guys, I think I have worn out my welcome with my hosting sites support people so I will try to ask here. A little while ago, I was doing something in the modules section and a message popped up that said I had to generate a new .htaccess file because of a change I made. Can somebody tell me how to do this? I have had bad luck with file already. After that message also, my dashboard went to like way generic. Why is that? Anybody know? Thanks in advance for answering this.

In the back office, go to Tools > Generators. I hope this helps.

Hi Mike ya I know about that part but I don't know what I am supposed to type in for "the specific directives of your host". Any ideas on that?

It's not a required field. Obviously, I would back up your site first, but after that you should try to just regenerate the new file without filling out that field.
