I have been unable to find a definitive answer as to whether we need to register with the data protection registrar (CNIL?) for the collection and storing of people's names and addresses. We will only be using the addresses for sending orders not for any other purposes including marketing etc. I will be including a privacy statement on the site informing people of their rights under the data protection act to access or modify their personal data.
