Display cms categories in sidebar of specific pages

Hi Guys

 

Im new to Prestashop and really loving it so far.

 

Just having a bit of trouble getting my head around the cms side of things.

 

At the moment I am using 1 column theme and im not sure how to enable sidebars on cms pages or how to insert content into those sidebars.

 

Basically I have a cms page here called 'artists' http://www.iamofireland.ie/content/11-artists

which I want my client to easily be able to add more artists down the line & they will automatically display in the left sidebar, but only on the main Artist page & all sub pages of 'Artists'.

 

At the moment it is a 1 column template & im just hard coding in a sidebar. This wont work going forward for my client.

 

Any help with explaining how to do this is much appreciated.

Sure. You need to hook the CMS into the Left column but only activate the Left column for the artists page (and any sub-pages). It isn't hard.
