BenC Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I was wondering if there is any way that you can increase the price when a customer selects a certain payament module?ie if they use a cheque or do bank transfer its ok but when google checkout and paypal are chosen they charge so I would like to counteract that if possible? Also what other payments do you guys use? I want to move away from paypal if I can I dont like the system
psy Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Well i have been trying to do something like that, not quite the same.I believe you are forbidden by the payment processors of raising prices because of payment method. What i'm trying to do is check if an order is more than €XX and only show certain payment modules if the check turns true.Maybe a simple config in all payment modules asking for the minimum ammount permited to be paid for each module would be a great addition to prestashop features.Like you can set the currency for each payment module you could also set a minimum value, i guess. Just over my head and skillls to do that.
