Newsletter Module Not Working Well

I have installed presta builtin module for newsletter. It works fine for registered users. As the user subscribes, it updates the field to show that user has subscribed for the newsletter.

But for a visitor who has not been registered, nothing goes anywhere. So how can admin find that someone is willing to subscribe to newsletter, and also both ends (admin + user) must be getting emails.

One last thing, is presta 1.4 has the admin end for newsletter.? I mean where we can send the newsletter to those users, who have subscribed.

Sooner help will highly be appreciated, as i am stuck with it and my client is very very angry now.
