MiguelRa Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 I've read the other posts regarding the DataBase install and still I can't get through.It's a new 1.4.2.5. install (and I am new to PrestaShop). My site is hosted in GoDaddy and I created the DataBase as indicated. I also opened all folder permissions (I started doing just those indicated but got nowhere and made everything available). I don't get that I put the database name, user, etc and when I test (Verify Now) it says the "Database is connected". I try the test email and it works, but when I click Next I get an error message saying "You have to create a database, help available in readme_en.txt". The one thing I do notice is that in the MySQLAdmin it says that the user has no privileges and I can't finde where to change that.I appreciate advice...
