Add custom code on cart update process

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to implement some custom app with prestashop. Actually I need to create a cookie with cart info so I can show cart on that custom app of mine. And I did it, by adding some custom code(for cookie setting) in cart.php, but now there's a problem with that, of course, 'cause my client is not code expert, and when he trys to update prestashop next time, those changes will be lost. So I was thinking of creating some module for that. How can I use a module to add some custom code while prestashop is updating cart?
Is this evan possible?

Hi, thanks for the reply, I actual make it to work, by editing template tpl file, with some {php} tags and my custom code. So everything is great now. thanks!
