Prestashop 8.2.1 multistore - bug can't editing product - The system will export csv instead open editing page

Recommended Posts

Hello.
I know that the problem of the "automatic exporting a useless csv file" Instead of entering the editing page it has already been reported.

However, I thought it had been resolved with PS8.2.1 -->> It has not been solved.

I have an installation of PS8.2.1, configured with 6 stores (6 domains same catalogue), and if I try to edit a product while is selected the Multistore, I am asked to choose a reference store, after this choice instead of entering the editing page, is downloaded a useless CSV.

This abnormal behavior also happened to me previously on Ps8, when I logged in to the system.

Surely it's all connected, someone needs to go deeper and solve this BUG.

I've tryed also to delete cache/prod and to login/logout but nothing changes

Thank you
Erik

Sorry, maybe we didn't understand each other.

I thought you wanted me to report this BUG on the official Prestashop GitHub (and I will).

What I have reported here has not yet been resolved.

Instead I read some time ago about similar problem with the search formhttps://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/pull/37869

And it was said that it had been solved with PS 8.2.1

I hope it's clearer now

Regards

PrestaShop core developers are aware of the bug, but no official fix is available as of 8.2.1.  I could not find issue in github, the issue you referenced is In the admin panel, when searching for a product by ID using the search bar at the top, if the entered ID matches an existing product, the system should redirect to the product page. Instead, it downloads a CSV file

if you share catalog, customers across all shops then this module will do the same without the ps ms overhead and complexity.

Hello, I had already evaluated this module, and I also exchanged emails with the developers Fred and Laza.

However, the module had a problem, no product images load on the frontend for the additional domains.
After a few attempts, unfortunately we didn't get to the solution, and the developers told me that right now they are focusing on something else for their business issues.

I therefore relied on the core functions of Prestashop, which I always prefer for guaranteed development continuity. Maybe with bugs, but assured hahaha :)

I solved the issue just recently.
