[Addon] QuickUpdate Import Master -> Import XML feeds with products with scheduling, multiple sources, filters, modifiers and large data support

QuickUpdate  ImportMaster makes importing from XML feeds a snap (simple or with combinations and features, including categories, images, etc.)

• Allows modifying of data before importing?
  • They are called modifiers and you can apply how many modifications you need on the data before importing
• Allows filtering of imported products?
  • You can configure filters so only specific products are updated when importing (unique feature not available in other modules)

New version v5.9.0 includes includes importing categories automatically from category paths in XML files:

"<category>Home>Clothes >Men</category>" or "<category>Home|Clothes|Men</category>" -> will import all missing categories so products are imported in their category accordingly. (category path separator is configurable)

Does it support other formats like JSON or CSV?
And if not, presuming i can convert these formats to XML before importing- how are the fields in the dropdown lists presented as it does not seem the files are loaded in the presentation.

Hi,

 

Module does not support JSON and CSV at current version but as you mentioned you can convert any files you have to import before into XML.
Regarding the dropdowns with the data paths from the XML, we are using a custom and very efficient algorithms for processing the XML files and presenting you the data path you have available for selection in the XML you want to import.

More specifically the processing loads only the data paths from the XML so it works very fast even with large files like 100s of MB large.
