Crabix
Hello everyone, I’m encountering a problem since I updated my Prestashop 1.7.8.8 to 1.7.8.11. Before this update, everything was working perfectly, but now, product images no longer display in the front office when friendly URLs are enabled. Here are the details of the problem: Friendly URLs enabled: Images don’t display, and the generated image URLs look like this: https://imodel.fr/9297-large_default/nettoyant-special-boue-et-terre-mud-off-750ml.webp. It seems that Prestashop is looking for the images in the wrong directory. Friendly URLs disabled: Images display correctly with URLs like this: https://imodel.fr/img/p/9/2/9/7/9297-large_default.webp. I’ve already tried the following actions without success: Disabling and re-enabling friendly URLs. Deleting and regenerating the .htaccess file. Regenerated All Thumbnails Clearing both the Prestashop cache and the browser cache. I’ve also read about a dozen posts on forums regarding this issue, but I haven’t found any solution that works. When I enable friendly URLs, my .htaccess file looks like this: # ~~start~~ Do not remove this comment, Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again # .htaccess automaticaly generated by PrestaShop e-commerce open-source solution # http://www.prestashop.com - Prestashop Addict
Did you try to active url rewriting and delete var/cache/prod?
Crabix
15 hours ago, Prestashop Addict said: Did you try to active url rewriting and delete var/cache/prod? I have tried enabling URL rewriting and cleared the var/cache/prod directory. Unfortunately, the result is even worse now—I'm getting 404 errors on my pages. However, everything still works fine without simplified URLs. It seems the system might no longer detect the languages. For example, when URL rewriting is enabled, the site redirects to imodel.fr/fr/, but without it, it redirects to imodel.fr/index.php. This suggests that the .htaccess file might no longer be detecting the languages either.
Prestashop Addict
Are you sure your hosting provider didn't remove rewrite module in apache?
Crabix
I'm on a dedicated server, nothing changed and it worked perfectly before this update 😕 Is there a way in the htaccess to give it the good redirection to my multilingual pages ? https://imodel.fr/fr/ => 404 https://imodel.fr/en/ => 404 https://imodel.fr/index.php => Ok Edited September 3 by Crabix (see edit history)
Prestashop Addict
Do you have a module for SEO, or a module that made an override. Did you check in debug mode to see errors?
Crabix
I don't have any SEO module, but i have something related to the cache "Super Speed" module, in debug mode i can't really have any error on the 404 pages because this is sended from my dedicated server under litespeed, Is there maybe a way to test the htaccess to be sure it works ? Prestashop Addict
il y a 5 minutes, Crabix a dit : Is there maybe a way to test the htaccess to be sure it works ? Sure you can use this online .htaccess rules checker
Crabix
Thank you The tests gives different results depending on whether simplified URLs are enabled or not, so it seems that the .htaccess file is being correctly interpreted ! I'm lost xD, (Je vois que tu a une agence web, faites vous du support sur devis ou formule spéciale ?)
