products are not showing up in frontend category

Hello,

For certain users products are not showing up in categories, groups are fine, and even when no user is logged in, the products are showing up, this happens just only for certain users and there're no difference between users who can see products and the one who can't. I've disabled any external module but no luck.

Any idea?

it seems that depends on the address. why products are shown based on the addresses if products have no such limitations?

no I don't.

Finally I managed to figure out the solution. It seems that the carrier had setup a different kind of TAX than the products itself, so when the user was logged in, and his main address belonged to a country with a different tax that the one setup in the product, automatically this is not available in the category. This is why guest users, who had not setup any address, could see the products in the catalog.
