gray Posted May 31, 2024 Share Posted May 31, 2024 I have been using v8.1.5 and then upgraded a couple of days ago to 8.1.6. Now when I login I get a popup "Update needed for PrestaShop Edition Basic PrestaShop Edition Basic module needs to be updated to ensure the proper functioning of your store" Just what the hell is this all about ?? Darussalam Posted May 31, 2024 Share Posted May 31, 2024 As per the pinned post, there is a new module, Prestashop Basic, installed which requires PHP 8. You can uninstall it if you want as it only changed the color scheme a bit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Suddenly a pop-up message comes when I'm connect to admin dashboard. Contrary as you said on your previous post in reply to @gray, I can not disable the module otherwise I've got an error message on admin and a part of admin nav on left sidebar disappear.
