Small row of subcategories on the category page

Hi Presta friends,

As the name of topic suggests, I'm looking for a module that would show me a small row of subcategories in each category, like the About you and other big ecommerce sites.

I just can't find anything like that and I can't accept that there isn't such a module yet. Many of larger online stores use this way to present subcategories.

I sincerely hope that I have overlooked it and that it does exist.

You can do it with native module ps_categorytree, hook position or widget, smarty and html/css.

Unfortunately, I am not a developer, so I realy can't do it. Could you perhaps do it for me for a money of course?

I am very curious, since you mentioned ps_categorytree... why this module doesn't work on mobile? Is this a desktop-only module, or can it be adapted for mobile?
