ale.pixel Posted January 13, 2023 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Hello! I'm having a problem while associating payment methods to the carriers in my shop. None of them is selectable from the menu Payment > Settings and I'm having the annoying problem on the checkout saying that "Unfortunately no payment method is availabe for the selected carrier" I have already tried to reset the payment modules one by one but with no luck. Prestachamps Posted January 13, 2023 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Hi @alex.kidd, hvae you tried to enable the DEBUG mode, and check if you have any error on the payment preferences page, or on the checkout? Also you can try to disable the payment modules one by one, as there is a chance that one of the non default PrestaShop payment modules are causing an error wich is preventing the functionality of the Payment preferences BO page. Make sure payment work without associating it to carrier (to avoid "Unfortunately no payment method is availabe for the selected carrier". Sometimes, I find that this sentence is misleading that it has nothing to do with payment-carrier relation) B. Check config/xml folders esp. if you have re/install your shop. Look for hook / module that is related to payment & carrier C. Disable all modules (not only payment) that is not PS default D. Check hook E. After making PS as default as possible, if using default payment (e.g. bankwire) and default carrier (e.g. My Carrier) works (i.e. checkbox appear in Setting/Preference), then maybe try to install the next payment module, check, next carrier module, check, etc. The above is made in no particular order.
