Friendly url not working, 404 error

A few months ago i installed a brandnew Prestashop store on a subdomain. Since then i bought a theme (supermarket theme from the Prestashop store, highly rewarded, have it also on another store.) And i bought some modules.

Everything is working fine. No errors (not in the file log on DirectAdmin, not when i turn on de-bugmodus).
Now almost everything is done, and ready to go.

Unfortunately: when i turn on Friendly Url i can't see any content. I see header, menu, everything except for the products, cms pages, category list etc.

Prestashop installation is up to date.
mod rewriting is enabled (and it works on the main domain with another Prestashop store really well)
When i disable non-prestashop modules, turn off overrides, use the plain standard Prestashop theme, still the same. Friendly Url still doesn't work.

The webhosting company can't find any problems.

As soon as i turn off the Friendly Url, everything works great.

I'll guess it's a brand new 1.7 so.

Try to go Parameters > Seo & Urls, and clic on the Save button from URL format tab.

It'll create a new htaccess, sometime it saves things.
