reinstall terrible mistake "please help"

we just deleted all files on prestashop folder 
database is intact 
i cant reinstall prestashop without deleting database or reuse old database always asks to create new database because the intended database "tables was found"

when we create a new database and switch database 
it just got missed up badly 

any help ?

Hosting cant restore backup? Or it was on local drive? If it was local, you could use files recovery software. But in most cases, the hosting provider can easily restore it.

first,  backup the original database on a local drive.  make several copy's  just to be sure

 

reinstall prestashop  with new empty database

go to phpmyadmin  ,  delete all fields   and then  import old database

only thing wat can occur is that database password is not the correct one,
Your hostingprovider can support you to correct that problem

You can copy the files from Prestashop zip to your FTP manually and run composer. But you will still miss your theme and module files. So better to use any old backup and copy the files from there.

Hi @mostafamoaz If you remember the prestashop version installed you just download that prestashop version zip folder from prestashop repository and copy to website folder and delete the installation folder and change to the database which you currently have change the setting in the file db connection. also delete cache and try run the website. It will be ok. Thanks.

thanks for you all 
i just installed new prestashop to a new database 
and then switched the database settings to old one 
unfortunatly we recovered all orders and products but we had to create the layout and themes from the start 
and we also have to download all images from the start
the only issue we faced that facebook chat plugin and whatsapp plugin is not appearing so we are searching for the issue
