Change ORDER BY category in Product page (backoffice) PS 1.7

When creating a new product from Backoffice, the categories panel on the right (ps 1.7) does not correctly show the categories tree, presumably ordered as an ID only, while the correct positioning of the categories should as a reference, so inserting a difficult product remains for a common user if he has 50-100 categories (large shops)

through html the container to which I refer is:

I refer to the selection of categories where the PRODUCT is to be shown, together with the DEFAULT CATEGORY option button.

Is it possible to correct this ordering of the categories?
