Its size is now defined as the default size in classic theme instead of 200x143: Did you lose your overrides in custom.css for instance? The problem seems to be the same for search bar. I do note that the new one adds some things, but to be honest, I wish I was better at looking at CSS. I've attached them here, if it might hold a clue?
