melriks Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 Which Prestashop files create the .htaccess file for the friendly URLs?I'd like to modify the code so that the friendly URLs that are generated all end in .php.I don't want to manually change the .htaccess file. I want to change the file that creates the .htaccess file so that any time I want to regenerate the .htaccess file, the generator will use the rules that I set for it.My team had been using a friendly URL module in Zen Cart that used exactly the words that you entered into the products friendly URL field (i.e., /category/product.htm or /category/product.php or category/product.cfm). It didn't care and followed your lead allowing you to map the URLs as desired. It also automapped them when you were lazy.Prestashop is significantly better than Zen Cart except for this one thing.
