Install Prestashop in subfolder with composer

Hello,

I'm starting a new Prestashop 1.7.7 project based on Prestashop release and I wish to install it in a subfolder with composer.

That is, I'd want to put composer.phar, composer.json and composer.lock in root folder and use composer to:

1) install prestashop in htdocs subfolder

2) install a custom synchronizer toward a management system in a synchronizer subfolder.

Would it be possible to configure composer to put any prestashop file in such subfolder?
