Another issue with (1/1) FatalErrorException Error: Illegal length modifier specified 'f' in s[np]printf call in smarty_template_compiled.php line 178

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help and assi t with this issue?  We had this before in Sept 2020 and when we couldn't solve it, finally our hosting provider managed to.

Unfortunately over the weekend this error issue happened again.  After spending the whole day of trying to solve this again with our hosting techs, the issue cannot be resolved.

They have advised that it is a developer issue.

Has anyone encountered this and solved it?

Need any help possible.

Thanks

What is PrestaShop and PHP version?

Prestashop version 1.7.6.5

PHP 5.6

The PHP version was set by the tech support previously when he managed to solve the issue back in 2020.

We haven't amended or added any new add ons so we have no idea why this has happened again

I have this code in my smarty_template_compiled.php on line 178 (PS 1.7.6.5):

touch($this->filepath);

So it is strange.
