Images are not working with new install.

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I have been working through several posts on this and none of the answers have worked for me. I am going to share screenshots of the missing images and the inspection panel of the issue.

The issue occurs in all of the customer side of the store, but in some places of the admin page it does work.

This is the page the customer sees before adding to the cart, it says image source is unknown. It's the same thing for views like categories and such. All on the customer side.

However, on the Admin side it is a bit different,

This shows that the image from the /tmp/ directory works.

This shows the 'Zoom' from the products setup and it uses the raw .jpg file that was originally added.

But in the admin view when working with the description and such it shows a file name that doesn't exist.657180778_ProductSettings.png.d419d023047ef53a21757e4077f22502.png1081418913_ProductSettingsInspection.png.ea1722c17ed813fd7610774f6cb2bca7.png

So I put the site in debug mode and this is what I get:

Very good, how do you proceed now?

Name your Prestashop Version, The server configuration, PHP version.

I’m in the same pickle. Why don’t the images (product and category) ^appear ? PrestaShop 1.7.7.3. Hostinger Server. Version PHP 7.3.

You need to make sure that your folders are writeable and install the memcached for php. I also had to do a fresh install after everything was green to get it to work.
