Adding Tawk.to Chat feature code to Footer Template

I am using Prestashop 1.7.7.1. and i am using the default classic theme.

I want to install the tawk.to chat feature to my Prestashop site. I guess there will be an addon for that purpose but will rather add the code to my footer template.

Is this not possible, as i have tried adding it without success or am i doing something wrong?

I added the tawk.to code to the bottom of my Prestashop site footer template @ Root Directory]/themes/classic/templates/_partials/footer.tpl
