Passing parameters to another url.

Hello,

I'm quite new to the prestashop community. Curretly i'm developing a widget that passes variables to another url based on products information. i've found out that jQuery is my friend on this one. But i just cannot get my hands on how it should be implemented.
To make it more clear, i.e. i have a product with a price of NaN and i need it to pass to an iframe with a source of - www.example.com/a=NaN/. Which approach should i take in realizing this ?
