Language translations in version 1.7

In version 1.6, the functionality of language translations was almost perfect. 8 out of 10 points. I don’t know what it took to “smoke” that in version 1.7, instead of finishing grinding the diamond, the elements were sabotaged - absolute nonsense. We still had hope that 1.7.7.x versions would fix this debilitation, but it looks like the PrestaShop team is making every effort to get as many of the PS community as possible to change the PrestaShop platform to something else. I don't understand - you don't see what nonsense you did with the previous normal decision. Now translating something into another language has become the biggest headache ... some absolute debilitation ...
