Prestashop: 'Build Your Own'

We are an electronic retailer and we are designing a 'build your own PC' 

We are currently using the combinations feature but due to so many component variations, this result is over 50+ combinations on one singular product. This is almost impossible to manage pricing/impact on prices, each part within this combination has its own individual price and changes the final price.

We are looking for a advanced combinations solution - that can be used on multiple products.

Does anybody have a solution that can make this process easier/self-automated, we are open to looking at additional third party modules.
