Problem importing products in 1.7.7

I am using a prestashop 1.7.6 where I have no problems. Instead, I have set up another prestashop but with the latest version, the same article files. I have the problem in this second prestashop, when importing the articles it tells me:

Product-> description_short is currently 2017 characters. It must be between 0 and 1825 characters.

What I can do?

Change it in Shop Parameters->Product Settings Max size of short description.

I have already solved this problem thanks to your answer. Now it tells me this error in the next field.

The Product-> low_stock_alert property is not valid

 

In the other import from my store and in this one, this field does not have any added value in the excel, in my other store it did not give me an error with this message.

The low_stock shouldn't be mandatory but as a quick fix you could add 1 there in that csv column for every product.

I have managed to install prestashop 1.7.6.8 and now everything works fine.

Prestashop is always a mess for me to work as a merchant

One would wonder why do you stick with such "a mess" as the free Prestashop instead of purchasing something that isn't, whatever it might be.

You must be enjoying tormenting yourself... 🙂
