andrelinc48
Good evening everyone ... I am using ps 1.7 for the first time, I changed all the classic theme and I am practically done. Only after I read that, it was convenient to use a child theme, so as not to lose the changes in a future update. routerlogin How can I fix it? Is it possible to rename "my classic" and copy a "clean" classic with ftp, in order to transform it into an added theme? In this way I will not lose the changes made? Thanks to anyone who will answer and sorry for my english 192.168.0.1 Edited January 12, 2021 by andrelinc48 (see edit history)
Prestachamps
Hi, well, the child theme should only contain the files that are changed/modified from the classic theme, not all the files of the classic theme, so you should create a child theme and add to that theme only your modified files. You can use a file compare program like Winmerge, which can show you the differences in each file from your modified classic theme and the default classic theme. Kind regards, Leo
