How to monitor carts dropouts the proper way?

For guest users, what is the best way to monitor cart dropouts please? ie: Find out why they are leaving the site at the checkout.

Howdy, one tool I found very helpful and that helped me identify visitor friction is to integrate luckyorange.  I've found and reduce friction just by watching recorded visits, desktop/mobile...

there is module on addon's...but if you search maybe there is a cheaper or free module.

but it's worth it...IMHO....my job is always how to improve a client shop...by watching why visitors leave, what the visit....how they navigate and see.....priceless.

of course there is google analytics abandonment....that's another story...loool
