How to receive confirmation mail?

I would like to have the opportunity to receive a confirmation e-mail when the product of my webshop is ordered and paid for, so that I can get things ready without having to check my PrestaShop webshop. Is this a standard option? And when so, how to turn it on?

Hi,

You  can  do  it  with  the  mail  alert  module  witch  is  free.

But  also  this  module  does  it  in an advanced  way :
